Gel nail polish is formulated to be used on natural and artificial nails. When applied to healthy natural nails using the proper technique and cured under LED or UV light, a gel manicure can last up to three weeks without smudging, peeling, or chipping. Your natural nails can be the perfect canvas for gel polish!
A semi-cured nail gel strip is made of gel nail polish that has been cured but only partially. ohora’s semi-cured gel nails are 60% cured. You receive them at 60%. After you use a UV lamp, your nails will harden and become 100% cured. The term “curing” is used when a lamp is used to lock in the gel and solidify the polish.
Most gel polish brands cure in just 30 seconds under the UV light. It doesn't smell. Acrylics and regular nail polish have strong scents. Gel polish has nearly no scent at all.
You paint the gel on like regular nail polish. You then put your nails under an ultraviolet (UV) light to harden the gel. UV light can cause skin damage, including wrinkles and age spots.
Remove the protective film. Peel off the gel sticker. Match up the cuticle line. Place the strip on the nail. Use a wooden manicure stick to press edges down. Clip the tips off with nail clippers. File off the excess gel strip with a nail file. Cure under a nail lamp. Apply top coat (optional).
TIPS AND TRICKS. Using the wooden manicure stick gently press down on glaze strip thoroughly to seal all edges before curing. This will prevent hair and debris from catching onto the nail strip perimeter.
