BMW Motorrad has extended its ShiftCam (variable valve timing) technology and 1254cc boxer engines to the rest of the R range. It was introduced in September to the GS and RT 1250 models. SiftCam technology now comes in all the other liquid-cooled boxers: the R 1250 R, RS and GS Adventure.
