Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept. Volvo’s Four-C, short for Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept, is a type of active suspension available on some Volvos starting in model year 2004 (North America). Four C In V70 R – notice it has three settings, Comfort, Sport and Advanced.
Launched in 1996 to replace the 850, the S70 and V70 were Volvo's take on the executive car. Both versions were esentially redesigned 850s but proved reasonably popular with owners. Volvo reckoned 1800 changes were made, but the most noticeable was the softer-edge styling. The V70 estate was available in both front- and all-wheel drive versions.

The high-performance V70R AWD models were discontinued with this third generation, only a mostly cosmetic R-Design package was made available. [171] After model year 2011, Volvo discontinued sales of the V70 in North America, instead marketing the FWD variant of the XC70.

3) The R 6MT is very easy to drive. When we were ordering the 05 V70R, so many of the posts herein were negative about the clutch that I was very concerned my wife would hate it (of course all of these were in reference to the 04 cars, and I don't know if anything is different or not between 04 and 05 MT's). She loves the car.
(I did this a year ago, have not gotten this past year's worth of data). I used data from both the S60R and V70R, V70's seem to have a $500-$1000 price premium over the S60's, and manuals have a similar price premium over their auto counterparts. Based on that data, $7500-$8000 is the average price for a V70R 6MT at 200K miles.
In this video I explain where I get keys made from my Volvo cars built before 1999. -----Disclaimer:
