Made by Mensa Norway This online test gives an indication of general cognitive abilities, represented by an IQ score of between 85 and 145, where 100 is the population average. This test is not a substitute for professional intelligence tests, such as those administered by Mensa and licensed psychologists.

An IQ of 124 on an SD 16 test is something like 97th percentile and suggests good aptitude at most technical jobs and good potential for excellence in academia. Obviously only study a Math major if the quantitative ability is there, and a Phil major only if the verbal ability is there, and so on. You could exist.
Anyway here are my results: Mensa Denmark: 123 Mensa Norway: 118 SACFT: 142, but the test is very easy and inflated, I read that it would be closer to 115-120 if renormed Tri52: 120 CFNSE: 0 (wasn't able to score high enough to be in the 2% percentile) Icar16: 80% percentile

What IQ Scores Really Mean – Mensa norway IQ test accurate. Most iq tests score an individual on a scale of 100. The highest score possible is 145, and the lowest score possible is 61; scores between these two extremes represents just one standard deviation from the mean iq for that group.[5]

Yes it was a criticism , as it's roughly 50% higher than my average for such tests. I got a similar inflated score with Mensa Norway. Your explanation that both tests are geared to measuring at the high end of the IQ scale goes a long way to explaining why. Below a certain threshold the accuracy is very much in doubt.
